With your impeccable organizational skills and financial training, you thrive on tight deadlines and enjoy working independently to successfully complete financial audits.

 

Your Role and Responsibilities:

  • Research companies in detail before starting the audit and collect, prepare, and organize physical and digital documentation for the auditing process.
  • Plan financial audits from start to finish, identifying key areas and issues for further investigation and analysis.
  • Verify documents, figures, and account details, and work with other auditing clerks, internal auditors, and tax officers to evaluate these figures, accounts, and statements.
  • Assess core business competencies and valuations, and compile and present findings in written and verbal form to senior members of the auditing team.
  • Assist other stakeholders in determining valuations, figures, and projections, and offer recommendations on subsequent actions and processes to be undertaken by the business.

 

What You Bring to the Table:

  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting or accounting sciences and at least 3 years of experience as a financial accountant, financial analyst, or business accountant.
  • A Certified Internal Auditor, Certified Financial Services Auditor, or similar certification.
  • In-depth knowledge of accounting software like Sage Pastel, SAP, or a similar system.
  • A strong understanding of key areas including risk, compliance, and financial legislation, plus exceptional financial research training and ability.
  • Skilled at writing and presenting detailed reports, and able to work both independently and in a team environment on tight deadlines.
