Proud Sponsor of the DSAGSL Birdies & Bass Tournament

May 16, 2018

Concero Technology Group was pleased to be a sponsor of the Down Syndrome Association of Greater Saint Louis’ (DSAGSL) Annual Birdies & Bass Tournament in May. This one-of-a-kind event supports DSAGSL by bringing together people and businesses with diverse interests in a combined fishing and golf competition.

Participants started the day with a fishing derby where, thanks to help from DSAGLS self-advocates, teams can shave strokes off their golf score by reeling in big fish from one of the lakes on the Persimmon Woods Golf Course. The golf portion of the day includes a putting competition and a round of golf. Live auction and dinner to follow.

“We are proud to support local organizations and causes and are excited to have a team representing Concero, as well as be a hole sponsor,” says president and chief golfer, Jay Murchison. “What is special about this event is that we will get to spend time with some of the children and people who benefit from this organization. It’s always an uplifting day!”

The mission of the Down Syndrome Association of Greater St. Louis is to benefit the lives of people with Down syndrome and their families through individual and family support, education, public awareness and advocacy. The DSAGSL serves nearly 1700 individuals with Down syndrome of all ages in the greater St. Louis region.
