What You’ll Do
As a key member of our accounting team, you will oversee accounting operations and financial reporting for a portfolio of residential and commercial properties while partnering closely with leadership and property management teams.
Key responsibilities include:
• Managing full-cycle accounting and monthly financial close processes
• Preparing financial statements, reconciliations, and management reports
• Supporting budgeting, forecasting, cash flow planning, and financial analysis
• Monitoring property performance and identifying trends and opportunities
• Ensuring compliance with GAAP, lender requirements, and regulatory standards
• Assisting with audits, tax reporting, and year-end financial processes
• Supporting and training property teams on accounting systems and best practices
• Collaborating with leadership on special projects and strategic initiatives
What We’re Looking For
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
• High level of Yardi experience • Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting
• Experience with real estate or property management accounting
• Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical abilities
• HUD-financed property experience preferred
• CPA designation or CPA-track candidates encouraged to apply
