Concero has accountant jobs located in Dallas if you’re ready for them! You’ll be tasked with taking charge of financial records and reporting to ensure subsidiary application systems and the general ledger are always aligned and up to date. If you live in the Dallas area (or are willing to relocate there), you can put your passion for numbers to work for our dynamic clients in the Lone Star state.

Who We Are Looking For:

An experienced Dallas-based accountant who loves to analyze financial information and prepare reports. A math whiz with an eye for accuracy and an appreciation for the principles of accounting, you’ll put your skills to work managing multi-agency financial records full time.

Your Role and Responsibilities:

  • Compile, analyze, and review financial information to prepare and release journal entries to the general ledger and subsidiary application systems including accounts receivable, asset management, and account payable.
  • Prepare general ledger account reconciliations each month and ensure batches within the subsystems are accurate.
  • Evaluate assets, liabilities, revenue and expenses, and prepare balance sheets, statements of activities, and other reports as needed to interpret and summarize the current and projected financial position.
  • Create end-of-month financial reports, assist the director with budgets, and explain quarterly or monthly variances as required.
  • Draft audit workpapers and schedules, prepare special reports as needed, support grants and grant compliance, and attend agency board and finance meetings when necessary.

What You Bring to the Table:

  • A bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related subject plus two years of experience or training. An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office with a strong understanding of Excel.
  • Experience with Infor or Lawson accounting software is a strong plus.
