Who We Are Looking For:

A trusted contributor to the accounting and finance team, you’re a skilled bookkeeper who can process payments with speed and accuracy. With a proven ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, you can keep up with whatever invoices come your way.

Your Role and Responsibilities:

Track, process, and reconcile payments, purchase orders, invoices, statements, checks, refund requisitions, and more, all in compliance with financial policies.
Perform daily activities for the full payment cycle, process all invoices, and ensure vendors are paid accurately and on time.
Ensure correct approval, sorting, coding, and matching of invoices and receipts, and prepare and process checks for multiple companies.
Work with the Director of Payables to audit and verify expense reports, update and maintain the vendor database, and prepare 1099s as needed.

What You Bring to the Table:

A bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field. Plus, proven work experience as an accounts payable specialist or clerk.
Hands-on experience with accounting software and a love for spreadsheets that makes calculating, posting, and managing financial records a breeze.
A strong understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles and a desire to continuously improve the payment process.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize so that all invoices are processed quickly and efficiently.
