Innovation Project Manager

Position Overview

The Innovation Project Manager plays a pivotal role in driving innovation and ensuring the successful development and launch of new products.

This position requires extensive collaboration with Operations, Research & Development (R&D), Marketing, Sales, and other cross-functional teams to align product development with production capabilities, streamline processes, and ensure successful execution. The role also fosters communication across departments to keep projects on schedule and meet established timelines.

Key Responsibilities

Project Management

  • Establish clear project timelines and prioritize new product initiatives in collaboration with R&D, Operations, and Marketing.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to develop realistic yet ambitious timelines for innovative product development.
  • Coordinate project activities across departments to ensure projects remain on schedule and within scope.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Operations, R&D, Marketing, Sales, and other key stakeholders to ensure alignment between product innovation, manufacturing capabilities, and launch readiness.
  • Participate in regular cross-functional meetings to provide updates, identify risks, and address operational impacts throughout the product development lifecycle.

Sales Support

  • Provide sales teams with timely updates on new product initiatives and launch activities.
  • Ensure vendor setup processes are completed accurately and efficiently to support successful product launches.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience managing cross-functional projects, preferably within manufacturing or operations.
  • Proven ability to coordinate projects across Operations, R&D, Marketing, and Sales teams.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong attention to detail with exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Experience using project management software and tools.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a product development mindset.
