Who We Are Looking For:

A Dallas-based tax accountant with a keen eye for detail and an interest in tracking changes to tax laws and regulations. You have excellent time management skills and a proven system for organizing and maintaining annual tax reports and payment records. Your skills with numbers and detailed knowledge of tax strategies helps you make expert tax recommendations that align with business goals.

Your Role and Responsibilities:

  • Prepare tax payments, estimate and track tax returns, complete quarterly and annual tax reports, and organize and maintain tax payment records.
  • Update the company’s tax database and recommend tax strategies that comply with laws and promote the company’s financial well-being.
  • Prepare paperwork for tax payments and returns and share financial data with the accounting department.
  • Follow industry trends, track changes related to taxes, and identify tax savings to increase profits.
  • Liaise with internal and external auditors and forecast tax predictions for senior managers.

What You Bring to the Table:

  • A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a similar subject. Industry certification (CMA or CPA) is preferred.
  • Work experience as a tax accountant, tax analyst, or tax preparer and knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and familiarity with accounting software packages.
  • Excellent analytical skills, time management, and attention to detail.
