Using Skype can seem self-explanatory, but if you're not familiar with video chat or need a refresher on best practices, here's a great run down to keep in mind. Don't chew gum Call in early Wear headphones if you have them Dress appropriately Have all your documents and notes in front of you Put your dog in the other room Minimize distractions around you (no TV, find childcare) Don't skype when you're driving If you're creating your account, make sure your user name is professional Be a human! : )
